Shuttleworth collection

Post by guzzr8 » Wed Jul 03, 2019 1:54 pm

Hello

Browsing through the web when I am supposed to be working, I notice that the Shuttleworth Collection do a Bikers Special Meal Deal during October, so I wondered if anyone was interested in a bimble over that way to take advantage of the genrosity

Hi,
Also supposed to be working ;)
I do believe that there will be a "ride in" of V7s at The Shuttleworth Collection
(just off the A1 at Old Warden near Biggleswade) on Saturday 31st August arriving at 12h00 I'd guess.

There is some evidence of these ride ins on YouTube:

Bikes are generally V7 small blocks, but anything is welcome!

Always worth calling in to Old Warden for a coffee in their restaurant.

They were doing this a couple of years ago plus if there were 10 or more you got a disccounted entry to the museum. I tried to organise a Herts/Beds branch meet up, but only two others turned up and one of them had cycled but he did qualify for the meal as he was on 2 wheels.

The last V7 group meet there was mega and Merv even organised a torrential hailstorm to catch out a certain party who sneaked away early.

Count me in. If I don’t have any other commitments on whichever day is chosen, I’d certainly like to tag along. I do enjoy the odd airyplane or two, and I believe they have odd stuff up there.

I checked with Merv yesterday & there is another V7UK meet up at The Shuttleworth Collection on Saturday May 2nd 2020 from 12:00. All welcome!

I like the look of that. I’ll get some V7 badges for my bike.
