77BRU probably better if you put what you want in the title, as "wanted" is a bit obvious since you have posted in the wanted Guzzi parts section of the forum. Further, it is not a good idea to post your phone number and email address in the forum unless you like calls from China at silly o'clock or hods of spam. :D Rather ask folk to PM you.

PS sorry I don't have one

Don't rule out a newer engine. Someone has converted a V7 engine to carbs and electronic ignition.

Don has a very good point, Guzzi have traditionally had loads of interchangeable parts within distinct ranges, Tonti frame (old 850-1000), spine frame and newer CARC models. The smaller engine bikes 500-750 also have a host of interchangeable parts including complete engines. The later 750's have a different frame but the engine casings are similar and so it maybe possible to fit a different engine into your bike. As Don remembered there was a bike featured in Gambalunga that had a later V7 engine fitted with some shoehorning.

theres a chap in Bridgend trying to sell a Nevada 750 its a 1998 model so I presume is carburated, its got panniers and top box and some awful custom stuff which you could flog on after breaking it for the engine
hes asking 1500 which is mighty high, probably only worth 800 to 950 tops

sometimes its easier to buy a complete bike then sell the rest of it off

hes just dropped the price to 1200
amazing what a drop of rain does
are you interested ?, its likely you will pay nearly a grand for a decent engine and gearbox anyway, and at least you can road test this
unlike an engine on a pallet
