Sadly going to miss this one as it clashes with the Kop Hill Climb which I have meaning to go to for several years.

With the perceived need to purchase advance tickets for this event coupled with the unpredicatability of our weather, witness the Silverstone debacle, it looks like you will be lumbered with me after all as it takes more than a spot of rain to spoil a Guzzi gathering.

After the gathering on Sunday at the White Hart, does anybody fancy riding down to the Motorcycle museum at Battlesbridge ? Not too far from Margaretting Tye.

I once spotted a 1918 Indian there, and it wasn't even an exhibit. It was a visitor !

:? of Ardleigh here - surely 7:30 is a bit early for a pub meet? Anyway, Karen is having a hay delivery Sunday morning, so I will be in desperate need of a pint of bale stacker recovery drink by about 1:00 ish (if the farmer turns up when he said he would . . .)

Yes it is a typo, 1:00 it should read, sorry for that it is a hangover from when we used to meet on Thursday evenings. No revised. :D

Well, I almost made it but did not finish a few things that needed sorting until about 13:30ish and was not sure is you were staying at pub or moving on to Battlebridge so I 'bottled it" and commandeered the sofa in front of the TV - and it was sunny all afternoon :( sob!

Hope you all had a good time.

A well supported meeting, good to see so many folk there and so many Guzzis! Sorry I didn't take any photos, being late on parade. Stuffy got half way there on his 1000 Cafe Racer but broke down in Sandon, I gave him a lift back to Maldon to get his trailer. When he got back to the bike it started first time. Probably flooded. Next time maybe.....

I didn't go back to pick the bike up, I just dropped him back at home to pick up his trailer then went on to the meet. On the way I did stop to take a photo of his poor abandoned bike, shame really :D

Buzz has posted some photos on the Club's Facebook page. Another great meeting, excellent company and Cake well worth incurring the wrath of Slimming World for.

Hoping I can maybe make the next one.

I've never quite been bothered to post pics up here on the forum. I presume it needs the images to be arbitrarily downsized and which is just a step too far. So 'tis FB for me also.

There was talk about a Christmas meal at Magaretting Tye, we will need to book a venue soon to avoid disappointment. It was suggested that we use the 16th December meeting at the Donkey and Buskins, Layer-de-la-Haye and have a meal on that lunchtime, but this will need agreeing if it is what people want (and of course booking) I will post a separate thread in the Essex section and maybe everyone can have a say, but it will still need the Essex branch steering committee to organise it. :D
