This one has come around PDQ and I still have no bike on the road so we probably won't see you all until August, which I believe is the weekend after the Guzzifest. If the Stelvio is back I fancy going to both!

I have promised to go to Dragstalgia at Santa Pod with a mate so that will be one less NonEssex/Non Guzzi this month. Back to cast a Short Fat Shadow in August.

I find that hard to believe but not to worry as I have just had a call from the nice man at Twiggers, I can pick up my bike tomorrow. Great News! :D

I'll not be at this one. I'm expecting to be on a boat coming back from Cherbourg to Portsmouth that afternoon - watching England give the French a damned good thrashing in the on board bar area. And isn't there supposed to be some football on TV around then?

As previously announced elsewhere; Martin Harvey who used to own "Guzzi Overland" in Epping and Leyton, will be joining us at the Cricketers. I'll try to get us there on time.
I know he did work for Steve back in the day. Pity he can't make it this month.

What a great gathering of people and bikes. Over 30 folk turned up mostly on bikes and we all talked fluent Guzzi! Many thanks to Carole for the tray of cakes, and to Yvie for passing them around, they all went. Nice to meet Martin from Guzzi Overland again after well over 30 years, he worked on my 850T in the mid 70's at his workshop in Epping, smart leather dungarees mate! I even spotted a cowboy on an Indian, so many surprises! It was nice to chat to Fred, Max, Del, Peter, John and the rest of the committee (including Buzz of course). Too many to take a roll call. The weather was fantastic and the venue had a very large flat car park, oh and good beer, what more could you ask for? I look forward to seeing you all again in August up in Stansted.

Best wishes

Gutted to have missed this but to be fair I had a good day at Santa Pod. Back to lower the tone in August.
