Is there a contact for the branch who uses the forum, as it would seem that Dave Watson the branch leader hasn't visited the forum for quite a while. A contact on the forum could be of use to new members in your area.
Best wishes

It would seem that there has not been much activity in this area for a while, saying that, I might be persuaded to take up the mantle if there are enough interested to do meets & rides in the area.
I am Sheffield based, ride a Cali, used to do Sunday rides in Switzerland with another group of all abilities.

Just a thought, that's all.

PerkyP, I agree! count on me to be with thee. Sorry don't know what came over me  . I would be interested in rides out at week ends with other guzzi riders.

Although BOB's is still active i'm not aware of any organised rides out.  Due to my work hours it's not often I can get to the monthly meeting (held on the first Monday of the month at the Keel Inn, Stairfoot, Barnsley S70 3NT).

I have received an email from Dave Watson who has been the BOBs branch organiser for the past ten years...

Hi Chris,

Ros and myself spent 3 months in France last year and no=one wanted to take over the reigns. As a result, BOB`s has slowly faded away. Having spent 10+ years running the Branch, we wanted a break.

Having said that, however, we were sorry to see the Branch fade..If anyone would like to take over, I would be pleased to give them advice.

Good news is that BOB`s At Home Rally will still be taking place, organised by Keith Mason, Roy Shaw and Des Moore as advertised in Gambalunga, and I hope to attend,

Ros was knocked down by an uninsured driver in January and cracked 4 vertibra and lost the use of her left arm due to the injuries. She`s making good progress, not wearing the collar now and is getting the feeling and use of her arm back, but will not be riding the Breva for quite a while.

Could you please mention her injuries in the mag as I`ve not had the time!

Cheers Chris,

Dave Watson.

The other members that I have been in contact with seem to now meet at the revived Danum branch near by, If there is no one willing to take over from Dave Watson it would seem that the branch has no leader and no members, the next step would be closure.

If anyone would like to help revive the branch please let me know.

Best wishes
